Galaxy Robot Park has opened in Seoul with robot performances, AI attractions and family programming as South Korea expands entertainment technology.
South Korea has opened Galaxy Robot Park in Seoul, a robot-themed entertainment venue built around humanoid performances, AI attractions and family programming.
The park, launched by Galaxy Corporation on May 5, covers about 16,500 square metres in the eastern Gangdong district. It is operating ahead of an official grand opening planned for August 2026, with the company aiming to stage more than 1,000 robot performances each year before then.
Inside the venue, visitors can watch choreographed robot concerts, see robots create portraits and attend staged robot fights in a central “Robot Arena.” The programming also includes K-pop-style dance shows and interactive attractions designed for children and families.
Galaxy Corporation chief executive Choi Yong-ho said the project was created to help younger generations become more familiar with robots as part of everyday life. The company, which represents K-pop artist G-Dragon, is positioning the park as a cultural space rather than a conventional technology exhibition.
The opening comes as South Korea continues to invest in artificial intelligence and entertainment technology. At a soft launch earlier this month, about 100 children attended, including several with learning difficulties.
Galaxy Corporation says the park is intended to encourage interaction between humans and robots through music, games and live experiences. The company is also discussing expansion projects in the United Arab Emirates, though details of those plans have not been announced.
